Job Summary

Value and Access Specialist

Looking for a role where your expertise matters? As a Value and Access Specialist at Insulet, you’ll contribute to transformative work, enjoy a flexible and inclusive culture, and make a real, daily difference for our global Podder community.

This role will interface with many different departments to incorporate effective value strategies into their market access plans to gain reimbursement, support policy, and to protect or build price. They will also collaborate with the countries on the generation and dissemination of real-world evidence and health economics data including leading and executing analysis using health service routine databases that is meaningful in-country, taking into account the local perspective, and also cross-country, taking advantage of synergies in methodological approach, to support market access and product adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with local market access teams to understand and synthesize requirements for real-world evidence and localization of economic analyses, accounting for health system characteristics and population needs.
  • Provide strategic planning for value strategies across countries where needed and for market expansion.
  • Collaborate with medical affairs and marketing teams to support evidence generation planning and provide market access input for international evidence planning processes.
  • Ownership of Budget Impact Modelling models, including in-house development of original analyses and adaptation of existing excel-based models to meet local requirements.
  • Provide review of RWE generation and economic analysis done locally and apply knowledge gained in one geography to another.
  • Provide leadership in value demonstration and provide content for country reimbursement submissions and support localization.
  • Engage with local market access teams to support the dissemination and use of economic analyses.
  • Support the development of a publication plan and ensure proper dissemination and communication of the evidence in peer-review journals and at scientific conferences.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strategic mindset and open-minded to foster innovation.
  • Proven business experience working within HEOR across the payer and payer influencer stakeholder group.
  • In-depth understanding of health policy and HEOR publication strategies.
  • Expertise in health services research, database analysis design and coding.
  • Experience in using statistical methods for study analysis.
  • Experience working on Global Value Dossiers and/or submissions to payers and technology appraisal bodies.
  • Skilled in developing and articulating value propositions to clinical and non-clinical healthcare stakeholders.
  • Competent in appraising and synthesizing clinical and economic information.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant area.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical and/or medical device space.
  • EU or Global experience is required.

Additional Information

  • Location: Hybrid based out of our Hammersmith, London office.
  • Travel: Estimated up to 40% but will flex depending on business need.
