As we continue our ambition to become Ireland's most trusted and sustainable business, we're looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Value, Strategy & Promotions Manager to join our Northern Ireland Trading team. This is an exciting opportunity to influence how customers experience value across our brands, helping to shape pricing, promotions, loyalty, and own-brand strategies that drive growth and deliver a winning proposition in a highly competitive market.
As Value, Strategy & Promotions Manager, you'll lead the development and delivery of Musgrave Northern Ireland's Value Strategy, ensuring we remain relevant to shoppers, competitive in the marketplace, and aligned with our wider commercial ambitions.
Working closely with Category Management teams and key business functions including Supply Chain, Finance, Sales and Marketing, you'll play a central role in creating compelling offers, delivering strategic projects, and bringing our value proposition to life.
This is a highly visible role with exposure to senior stakeholders, retail partners, and strategic business initiatives.

- Leading and evolving Musgrave Northern Ireland's Value Strategy across pricing, promotions, loyalty, own brand and added-value initiatives.
- Ensuring our value proposition reflects changing customer needs, market conditions and commercial priorities.
- Developing and maintaining Value, Pricing and Promotions policies, processes and governance frameworks.
- Identifying and delivering "One Musgrave" opportunities that create value across the wider business.
- Supporting the delivery of our Own Brand strategy and helping drive customer engagement and differentiation.
- Managing the promotional planning cycle, including the Promotional Execution Plan (PEP), ensuring initiatives are delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Leading cross-functionally to deliver the Retail Value Commercial Plan and Brand Planning calendar.
- Contributing to strategic programmes and transformation projects, including loyalty and digital initiatives.
- Building strong relationships with retail partners and store colleagues through regular engagement and store visits.
- Presenting value performance, insights and recommendations to senior leadership teams and key governance forums.
- Managing value-related reporting, promotional budgets, performance metrics and compliance requirements through Excel.
- Monitoring retail trends, competitor activity and legislative developments to ensure Musgrave remains ahead of the market
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who combines strong commercial thinking with a passion for delivering meaningful customer value.
You'll have:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a fast-paced commercial, trading, category, pricing or business management environment.
- Proven leadership and people management experience.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to turn customer and market insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional meetings and projects.
- The ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple teams and levels of the organisation.
- Outstanding organisational skills, with experience managing multiple priorities and continuous working cycles to specified deadlines.
- Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills and confidence working with and creating accurate data to support decision-making.
- A proactive mindset and passion for continuous improvement and innovation

It Would Be Great If You Also Have
- Experience within grocery retail, FMCG or the wider food industry within the Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland or UK grocery markets
- Experience of promotional planning, pricing strategy or commercial trading processes
