About The Role
Pertemps Maidstone seeks a Van Delivery Driver for a full-time, temporary role with permanent potential, based in Canterbury and paying £14 per hour. You will handle 15 to 30 multi-drop deliveries daily, driving a long wheel base van across the local area. The working pattern runs Monday to Friday, plus a half-day Saturday paid at overtime rates, with a one-hour unpaid break back at the depot. Overtime applies after 48 hours at 1.3x the standard rate. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Van Driver / LWB Van Driver for our client based in Canterbury. This is an excellent temp to perm opportunity for a reliable Multi Drop Delivery driver looking for long-term work.

Working Hours & Pay
- Monday to Friday + half-day Saturday (Saturdays paid on OT rate)
- 1-hour unpaid break (must return to depot, then go back on the road)
- £14.00 per hour (PAYE via Pertemps)
- Overtime paid after 48 hours at 1.3x rate

Van Delivery Driver Key Responsibilities
- Completing 15–30 drops per day
- Driving a long wheel base van (LWB Van Driver duties)
- Returning to the depot for breaks before continuing deliveries
- Ensuring safe, timely, and efficient deliveries
- Delivering excellent customer service at all times

Van Delivery Driver Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Van Driver / Delivery Driver
- Proven experience driving a long wheel base van (LWB Van Driver essential)
- Full UK driving licence (no major endorsements)
- Strong route planning and time management skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
