Looking for a driving role with no weekends, great benefits, and the opportunity to build strong customer relationships?

At Allied Vehicles, we're one of the UK's leading manufacturers of wheelchair accessible vehicles, taxis and minibuses, and Scotland's largest independent automotive parts distributor. Our reputation has been built on quality, innovation and outstanding customer service, and we're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Van Driver to join our Parts Hub team in Edinburgh.

This is more than just a driving role. As the face of Allied Vehicles on the road, you'll play a key part in delivering an exceptional service to our customers while helping to identify opportunities to grow our parts business.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5pm and the salary is £13.45 per hour + bonus (up to £150 per quarter).

This position provides an excellent opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking and dedicated company.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Van Driver, you'll ensure our customers receive the right parts, at the right time, every time.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Delivering parts to customers across Scotland in line with scheduled and urgent delivery requirements.
  • Building positive relationships with customers and providing outstanding service at every opportunity.
  • Identifying opportunities to promote parts sales and support business growth.
  • Collecting parts from suppliers when required.
  • Processing payments and account transactions accurately.
  • Handling customer queries in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Maintaining records of van sales and deliveries.
  • Checking and collecting returned parts for return to the hub.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
