Van Driver / Furniture Delivery Driver

£13.00 per hour

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Van Drivers to join our clients furniture delivery team. This role involves delivering flat-pack furniture directly to customers’ homes, working alongside a dedicated 2nd Man to complete deliveries safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving a company van to deliver flat-pack furniture to residential addresses.
  • Working closely with a 2nd man to load, unload and deliver items into customers’ homes.
  • Providing excellent customer service at every delivery.
  • Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Carrying out vehicle checks and maintaining a clean, roadworthy vehicle.
  • Following health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Previous van driving or delivery experience
  • Good geographical knowledge and ability to use navigation systems.
  • Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting on a daily basis.
  • Positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
  • For insurance purposes you will be over 24 years old

Working Pattern

You Will Work One Of The Following Schedules

  • Sunday to Wednesday
  • Wednesday to Saturday
  • Split week: Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday
