Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • Day shifts
  • Multi-drop deliveries (up to 20 drops per day)

The Role

Responsibilities

As a Van Driver, you'll play a key role in ensuring customers receive their goods safely, efficiently, and on time. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting daily vehicle safety checks and completing defect reports.
  • Safely loading, securing, and unloading goods while maintaining the highest safety standards.
  • Delivering and collecting products across designated routes within scheduled timeframes.
  • Completing Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation accurately and reporting any shortages or damages.
  • Maintaining accurate delivery records and updating transport management systems.
  • Communicating any delays, incidents, or operational issues to the Traffic Office promptly.
  • Ensuring excellent customer service at every delivery and collection point.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle and work area.
  • Following all Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times.

Essential

  • Full UK/EU Driving Licence.
  • Previous experience as a multi-drop driver.
  • Good knowledge of local routes and geography.
  • Strong understanding of safe loading and unloading practices.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • A professional and customer-focused approach.

Desirable Knowledge

  • Highway Code regulations.
  • EU Tachograph requirements.
  • Working Time Regulations.
  • Road Transport Regulations.
  • Transport methods, routes, and logistics operations.
