About The Role
Manpower UK seeks a Van Driver for a temporary, ad-hoc position based in Birmingham, with an immediate start. You will operate a 3.5T vehicle from a depot off New Town Row, delivering paint and decorating supplies to trade customers along planned multi-drop routes. Shifts run Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 14:30pm. The hourly rate is up to £13.18.
Applicants must be over 21, hold a full UK licence with no more than nine points, and possess at least two years of driving experience. Suitable PPE is required. Flexibility to assist with warehouse duties when needed is essential.

Location: Off New Town Row, Lower Tower St, Birmingham B6 4HP
Pay rate: £13.18 per hour
Shift times: 8:30am - 14:30pm
Manpower is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our National Client based in Birmingham for a 3.5T Driver to join their team on an adhoc temporary basis with an immediate start!
Role And Experience
- Working between Monday and Friday (08:30 - 14:30)
- Delivering paint and decorating supplies to decorators and trade customers via a planned route within a given area.
Requirements
- Must be aged over 21 years old
- Full UK Driving licence with no more than 9 points
- Must have at least 2 years of driving experience
- Have appropriate PPE (Safety Boots/High Viz Jacket)
- Flexible to support with additional duties e.g., carry out general warehouse/store duties during periods when not occupied in driving duties
- Good knowledge of the local area
- Multi-drop experience is desirable as there could be anything between 5 and 50 drops a day (depending on demand and the areas)
- Good customer service skills (engaging directly with customers)
