Local Multi-Drop Deliveries | 45-Hour Week | Customer-Focused Role
Local routes. Practical work. Home after every shift.
Join Selco as a Van Driver and become part of a branch team delivering building materials directly to customers across the local area.
You will carry out multi-drop deliveries using a company van, making sure products reach customers safely, securely and on time.
This is more than a driving role. You will represent Selco at every delivery, provide excellent customer service and work closely with colleagues to keep the branch operation running smoothly.
We want to be clear about what you can expect from the role:
- Basic working week of 45 hours
- Multi-drop deliveries across the local area
- Company vehicle provided for deliveries
- Based from your Selco branch, returning to the branch at the end of your working day
- Opportunity to earn up to £150 a month through the personal performance bonus scheme
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out multi-drop deliveries of building products to customers across the local area
- Completing daily vehicle and safety checks before setting out
- Making sure the vehicle is loaded safely and the load is secure
- Taking responsibility for the vehicle and stock while making deliveries
- Providing excellent customer service at every delivery
- Keeping the vehicle clean, tidy and ready for use
- Supporting inter-branch transfers and other branch activities when required
- Working closely with the branch team to keep deliveries running smoothly
- Following all relevant driving, road transport, health and safety, and company requirements

What We're Looking For
- A current full driving licence appropriate for the vehicle
- A safe, responsible and reliable approach to driving
- Good customer service and communication skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A flexible approach and willingness to support the wider branch when needed
- An awareness of vehicle safety, stock security and relevant driving requirements
- A positive attitude with a can-do approach to tasks
