About The Role
Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial seeks an experienced Van Driver for a leading logistics firm in Newent, offering £13.25 per hour on a full-time, temporary-to-permanent basis. Working Monday to Friday with starts from 3am, shifts typically span eight to ten hours, plus overtime beyond 45 hours weekly. You will handle five to ten multi-drop deliveries daily, load and unload goods, and complete delivery paperwork. Heavy lifting is essential, so physical fitness is required. Pertemps are currently recruiting for experienced Van Drivers to join a leading logistics company based in Newent. This is an excellent opportunity to secure consistent full-time or ad-hoc work with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate. This role will include early starts and manual handling will be required.

- Multi drop 5-10 per day, depending on the route

🚚 What We're Looking For
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- Reliable, punctual and customer-focused attitude
- Comfortable working independently and managing delivery routes
- Knowledge of Gloucester road networks is advantageous
- Ability to follow strict processes, procedures, and regulations
