Role Purpose
We are seeking a reliable and flexible Ad-hoc Van Driver to provide holiday and sickness cover for our delivery team on a zero-hours basis. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys a varied working schedule and can respond to business needs as required.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe collection and delivery of garments to and from our Dry Cleaning Hub in Hemel Hempstead, ensuring excellent service and care of customer items at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and deliver garments safely and efficiently to and from the Dry Cleaning Hub.
- Ensure all customer items are handled with care and transported securely.
- Maintain accurate records of collections and deliveries where required.
- Comply with all road traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Adhere to Health & Safety procedures and promote safe working practices at all times.
- Respond positively and effectively to unexpected changes in workload or delivery schedules.
- Support the Hub team with additional ad-hoc duties as required.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure the smooth operation of the business.

Skills and Experience Required
- Full, clean UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months.
- Previous driving or delivery experience is desirable but not essential.
- Flexible and dependable with the ability to work on an ad-hoc basis.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

This role is offered on a zero-hours basis and hours will be provided as required to cover annual leave, sickness absence, and other operational needs.
