About The Role
Pertemps Maidstone is recruiting a Luton Van Driver for a client in Rochester, Kent, on a full-time, temporary-to-permanent basis. The working pattern is Monday to Friday, starting at 06:00, with an hourly rate of £14.44 and enhanced overtime pay after eight hours per day. Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving a Luton van across set routes for deliveries and collections
- The safe loading and unloading of goods
- Heavy lifting, with some items reaching 100kg
- Daily vehicle checks and defect reporting

Van Driver Responsibilities
- Driving a Luton van to complete deliveries and collections across designated routes
- Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
- Heavy lifting involved, with items weighing up to 100kg during loading and unloading
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and within agreed timescales
- Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records
- Providing excellent customer service at customer sites

Van Driver Skills And Experience Required
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Comfortable with heavy manual handling and lifting items up to 100kg
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
