Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Start: Immediate Assignment: Temporary, Ongoing, Full Time Travel: Bridgwater and Cornwall when required – mileage paid at £0.22 per mile

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Van Driver Recruiter to join our client's busy Franchise Department. This is a high-volume role managing the full recruitment process for HGV drivers, from sourcing and interviewing through to compliance, contracting and onboarding. You will manage multiple vacancies, candidates and driver accounts simultaneously, so excellent organisation, communication and prioritisation skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and attract driver candidates
  • Screen and interview candidates
  • Complete Right to Work, licence and compliance checks
  • Prepare contracts and manage onboarding
  • Manage multiple vacancies and accounts at the same time (at least 50 at a time)
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records
  • Keep candidates engaged throughout the process
  • Work to recruitment targets and deadlines
  • Liaise with candidates and the client's Franchise Department
  • Travel to Bridgwater and Cornwall when required

About You

  • Previous 360 recruitment experience is essential
  • Driver recruitment experience is highly desirable
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume environment
  • Confident sourcing, interviewing and managing candidates
  • Strong organisation and communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Full UK driving licence
