About The Role

Van Driver (Avonmouth) – Temporary role, paying up to £13.45 per hour. Working with Manpower UK, you will support a healthcare organisation by delivering and installing home respiratory equipment to vulnerable clients across Bristol. Duties include transporting oxygen cylinders securely, performing basic servicing and safety checks, and maintaining professional, compassionate customer interactions. Full training is provided, so prior technical knowledge is unnecessary. Successful applicants will hold a valid driving licence and demonstrate reliability, care, and strong communication skills. This is a rewarding and hands-on role where you will play an important part in helping vulnerable individuals receive essential medical equipment safely, efficiently, and with the highest level of care. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and install home respiratory and breathing equipment at customers' homes
  • Transport oxygen cylinders and other medical gases safely and securely
  • Carry out basic equipment servicing, safety checks, and maintenance
  • Provide a professional, compassionate, and customer-focused service
  • Complete deliveries in line with health and safety procedures
  • Undertake manual handling duties, including the movement of oxygen cylinders and medical equipment

What We're Looking For

  • Full UK Category B Driving Licence
  • Maximum of 3 penalty points
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable, professional, and compassionate approach
  • Comfortable working independently and managing daily routes
  • Ability to carry out manual handling duties and heavy lifting
  • Willingness to undergo a DBS check
