Shift Pattern
Monday - Friday (7am - 3pm)
What will you do?
Make an impact!
Collection of clinical waste from customer sites such as Dentist and Doctors Surgeries.
Duties/Responsibilities
- To collect Customers waste in a safe and professional Manner.
- To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.
- To carry out vehicle checks before and after each shift.
- To report any near misses to their line manager.
- To drive to the Road Laws and the Highway Code including ADR law.
- To report vehicle defects to their line Manager / shift Supervisor.
- To work alongside team members.
- To adhere to all site rules whether on Tradebe or customers sites.
- To wear all required PPE at all times.
- To be smart and presentable at all times by wearing clean & correct company uniform.
- To be professional at all times when on customers site’s.
- To report any issues on return to site during driver de-brief.
- To contact site during the shift about any possible issues or delays resulting in missed collections.
- To keep all vehicles assigned to them clean and tidy.
- To refuel all assigned vehicles at the end of the shift.
- Not to over load their vehicle.
- Not to mix load waste without proper segregation.
- To use the PDA mobility on each collection.

Do you have what it takes?
Experience of driving a 3.5tn or larger vehicle
Communication skills
Customer relations
Desirable Skills:
- ADR qualified
- Experience in handling Waste (Clinical & Hazardous desirable)
- Use of hand held devices i.e. PDA
Knowledge:
- Good knowledge of Road Traffic Laws
- Knowledge of the UK road network
- Knowledge of NHS contracts (desirable)
- Good knowledge of the waste industry (Clinical & Hazardous waste desirable)
