Van Driver - Trial Member

Wembley, London

About Us

Here at Suma, we’ve been doing things a bit differently for over 40 years, not only in our mission to supply everything vegetarian, ethical and sustainable, but also in how we run our successful business.

Suma is a worker co-operative; a business owned and run by nearly 200 members who work here. We’re a group of ordinary people who have built a business on principles of integrity and equality. Suma workers work together collectively to set the direction of the business - there are no shareholders and no traditional ‘bosses’. Everyone at Suma gets paid the same wage, takes personal and equal responsibility, and is flexible to the needs of our business.

We are currently looking for a Van Driver who is eager to be trained in HGV driving, to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, following a 5.5 month probation period.

The Benefits

  • Salary of £35,859 (£17.24 per hour)
  • Generous holiday entitlement and pension (10.6% contributions when a member)
  • Profit share bonus
  • Staff discount on our stock
  • Overtime can be taken as pay or time off in lieu
  • Access to occupational sick pay
  • Expenses for meals and time away from home
  • Staff car park
  • An equal say in the running of our business
  • Training to gain an HGV Licence

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
