About This Role

Are you a Van Driver, Valet, Driver or someone looking for a hands-on role within the Vans industry? Our Van Driver/Valet role could be exactly what you have been looking for, combining driving, vehicle preparation, customer interaction and practical work within a busy branch environment.

  • Delivering and collecting vehicles from customer sites, locations and surrounding Dawsongroup branches.
  • Inspecting vehicles on collection and return, checking for damage and ensuring they are ready for hire.
  • Cleaning vehicles inside and out to the Dawsongroup standard.
  • Carrying out minor repairs and adjustments, alongside general yard maintenance.
  • Completing electronic documentation and reporting major concerns to the Branch Manager.

About You

You will be someone who takes pride in doing a job properly, communicates professionally and enjoys having variety in your working day. Whether you have worked with vehicles before or are bringing transferable skills from another hands-on or customer-facing environment, we want to hear from you.

  • A professional and courteous approach when dealing with customers and colleagues.
  • Good attention to detail when checking vehicle condition and presentation.
  • A willingness to learn, with full training provided across the role.
  • The ability to follow Health and Safety policies and procedures consistently.
  • A practical and reliable approach to completing agreed daily targets and quality checks.
