Van Home Delivery Driver
At Oak Furnitureland, we’re passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a Van Home Delivery Driver working from our Coatbridge Depot, you’ll be more than just a driver, you’ll be a key ambassador for our brand, delivering quality furniture and outstanding service directly to our customers’ homes.
Working as part of a two-person delivery team, you’ll complete multi-drop deliveries across your region, safely transporting, handling and, where required, assembling and installing furniture. From doorstep delivery to room-of-choice and premium installation, you’ll ensure every customer receives a professional and memorable experience.
Shift Pattern
This is a Monday-to-Friday role with two available shift patterns:
- Rotating shifts: 06:00-14:30 and 14:00-22:30
- Permanent afternoon shift: 14:00–22:30
Flexibility to work within these hours is essential to support our customers and operational requirements.

- Complete multi-drop deliveries safely, efficiently and on schedule.
- Represent Oak Furnitureland with professionalism and excellent customer service.
- Safely handle, load and secure heavy furniture.
- Assemble and install furniture where required.
- Complete vehicle checks and comply with GB driving and transport regulations.
- Work closely with your delivery partner to ensure smooth and efficient deliveries.
- Resolve customer queries and delivery challenges professionally.
Skills & Experience
- A valid UK/EU driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- A minimum of 12 months driving experience and no driving disqualifications within the last 5 years
- The physical ability to lift, carry and assemble heavy furniture.
- Experience with furniture delivery, assembly or installation is desirable
- Proven ability to follow delivery routes efficiently while ensuring loads are secure and handled safely to prevent damage to goods or property
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- A positive, professional and reliable attitude.
- Good teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- A good understanding of safe driving and load-handling practices.
- Flexibility to work within the required shift hours to meet customer expectations and operational demands.
