Van Ply Liner / Vehicle Conversion Technician

Location: Stratford-upon-Avon

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday

Our client is looking for an experienced Van Ply Liner / Vehicle Conversion Technician to join their team in Stratford-upon-Avon. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience working on commercial vehicles, van conversions or ply lining who is looking for a stable, Monday-to-Friday position with a competitive salary.

The Role:

  • Ply lining and boarding out commercial vehicles and vans
  • Measuring, cutting and fitting plywood and associated materials
  • Installing flooring, side panels, bulkheads and other vehicle conversion equipment
  • Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Working from drawings and measurements to ensure a high-quality finish
  • Carrying out vehicle conversions and modifications to a high standard
  • Ensuring all work is completed accurately and efficiently

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in ply lining, van conversions, vehicle fitting or a similar role
  • Experience working with commercial vehicles or LCVs is highly desirable
  • Confident using hand and power tools
  • Able to measure, cut and fit materials accurately
  • Good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
  • Reliable, practical and able to work independently
  • A full UK driving licence would be advantageous

The Package:

  • £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
