VAR Business Development Manager - IT Services and Software Sales
Based London 3 days per week
£35,000 - £70,000 Basic depending on experience + Uncapped commission.
Established for over 20 years, our client has grown from strength-to-strength as a focussed IT value-added reseller. Now turning over £100,000,000+ per annum, their continued success means they need to recruit an additional Business Development Manager, selling IT Services and Software.
Role Overview
As a Business Development Manager - IT Services and Software for this VAR, you will work from their newly renovated office 3 days a week, bringing on new business to the company and then managing those accounts going forward. The technology that you will be offering include hardware and software to networking, cloud, and support services. You will be responsible for your own purchasing and margins and as the sales team is not vertically or geographically aligned, you can sell into any industry, Enterprise or Public Sector.

Key Responsibilities
- Work from the newly renovated office 3 days per week.
- Bring on new business to the company.
- Manage accounts going forward.
- Offer a range of technologies including hardware, software, networking, cloud, and support services.
- Be responsible for your own purchasing and margins.
- Sell into any industry, Enterprise or Public Sector.
Requirements
- 2 or more years previous B2B Business Development sales experience, preferably from the same or similar industry.
- Skills that can enhance our customer experience.
- Ambitions to be professionals with the determination to go the extra mile in all areas of the business.
- Well-presented and confident.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with a wide range of people.
- Ability to hit the ground running with confidence to pick up the phones and uncover new business for the company and yourself.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers whilst gaining their trust and respect.
