Vercity support asset owners, operators, investors and public bodies to manage risk, assure performance and protect long-term value across all classes of complex built and infrastructure assets and associated projects & contracts.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Commercial Director you will support the commercial management and contract compliance for a range of variation works, including time sensitive and substantial works, across a portfolio of complex contracts with a particular focus on Greater London and the South East.
The role will lead the management of complex contract variations, including the development and execution of Letters of Indemnity, Deeds of Variation and associated approvals, while also supporting wider commercial matters such as operational advice, disputes and handback.

Complex Stakeholder Management & Communications
You
- Degree-level, professionally qualified construction / infrastructure professional from a commercial / QS route
- An experienced Commercial Professional with strong experience of delivering the commercial aspects of variations in a complex contract environment - SPV /PFI experience would be a benefit
- Your communication, presentation and Stakeholder management skills are a given
- Strong commercial judgement with a focus on delivery, programme discipline and outcomes.
- Ability to balance commercial rigour with client and stakeholder requirements.
- Ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders effectively in a complex commercial environment.
- Strong drafting review, document coordination and execution management capability across complex contractual documentation.
- Strong analytical, cost-tracking and risk management capability, with the ability to maintain clear commercial records and reporting.
