Job Summary
We’re excited to be looking for a vascular nurse to join our team to help deliver varicose vein treatments to the growing demand of patients nationwide.
We’re proud to be expanding our services across the UK and are looking for someone who is keen to work in Reading.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the performance of all safety checks before a clinic starts including cleaning the room before, during and after treatment
- Working in collaboration with one other nurse, support the Consultant with treating the patient
- Provide a warm and welcoming environment for patients at the clinic, and keeping them talking throughout the appointment, ensuring they feel safe and reassured
- Ensure the patient understands how to get the best results after treatment, including information around aftercare and available support
- At all times, you will be responsible for working as a team to adhere to CQC regulations
- Attend clinical specialty meetings to discuss the care pathway, training, or any support required
Required Qualifications/Screenings And Skills
- Nurse registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) with at least 1-year post-qualification experience
- DBS check
- A record of up-to-date mandatory training
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred But Not Required Skills
- Previous experience in private practice
- Understanding and knowledge of venous disease and conditions

The successful candidate will be reporting into our Lead Vascular Nurse.
