Your new role
As a VAT Compliance Specialist, you will take ownership of VAT reporting obligations across a portfolio of European and international entities. Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and reviewing VAT returns, reconciliations, Intrastat and other indirect tax filings
- Supporting VAT audits
- Advising internal stakeholders on compliance matters
- Assisting with process improvement and tax technology initiatives
- Monitoring legislative changes and helping ensure ongoing compliance across multiple territories

What you'll need to succeed
- At least 2 years' VAT compliance experience gained within industry, practice, or a multinational environment
- Strong understanding of indirect tax compliance processes
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse and reconcile financial data
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders across different countries and functions
- A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
