About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Indirect Tax professional to join a growing and ambitious professional services firm at a pivotal stage of its expansion. The role offers varied exposure across VAT compliance and advisory projects, with the chance to work on complex UK and international assignments while developing into a key member of the tax team.

Description
- Prepare and review complex UK VAT returns and computations
- Support international VAT compliance requirements and registrations
- Assist with VAT registration applications, options to tax and other HMRC submissions
- Liaise directly with HMRC, external advisers and client finance teams
- Provide practical advice to clients on day-to-day indirect tax matters
- Support the delivery of VAT advisory assignments across a diverse client portfolio
- Work alongside specialists from other tax disciplines on multi-faceted projects
- Ensure compliance with professional, ethical and regulatory standards
- Contribute to the development and mentoring of junior team members
- Assist with identifying opportunities to add value and strengthen client relationships

Profile
- Minimum of 4-5 years' experience within indirect tax, ideally gained in practice
- Strong knowledge of UK VAT legislation and compliance requirements
- Previous experience delivering indirect tax advisory work
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage directly with clients and stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Commercially minded with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
- Good IT proficiency including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ambitious individual seeking responsibility, technical development and progression

Job Offer
- Salary: £45,000 - 52,000
