VAT Director
A leading Top 10 UK accountancy firm is looking to appoint a VAT Director to join its growing national VAT practice.
This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to work with middle-market businesses and larger corporates, lead complex advisory projects, develop key client relationships and play a significant role in the continued growth of the VAT team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex VAT advisory projects across a broad range of sectors
- Manage and develop significant client relationships and portfolios
- Drive business development, identify new opportunities and grow existing accounts
- Lead complex projects and due diligence, with responsibility for quality, risk and commercial performance
- Work closely with Partners and other service lines to identify wider opportunities
- Develop Associate Directors, Managers and future VAT leaders
- Raise the firm's profile through networking, thought leadership and client engagement
- Provide technical leadership, coaching and support across the VAT team
- Champion innovation and improvements within the practice

About You
- Experience operating at Associate Director or Director level within VAT
- Strong technical VAT advisory experience
- Proven track record of winning work and growing client relationships
- Commercially minded with experience generating sustainable fee income
- Confident leader with experience developing and building VAT teams
- Strong communication, influencing and client management skills
- Ambitious and keen to contribute to the continued growth of a national VAT practice
