We’ve got a brilliant opportunity for a self-motivated and ambitious Manager to join our growing Indirect Tax team, led by an experienced partner group. The role is also open to talented and experienced Assistant Managers that are looking to advance their career journey.

As an Assistant Manager in our Indirect Tax team, you’ll be…

  • Dealing with challenging client queries across a broad variety of sectors
  • Managing complex projects and delivering those projects with the support of the wider team
  • Have a sense of pride in your work and strive for an exceptionally high-quality output, as you’ll be taking responsibility for your own portfolio under partner supervision
  • Build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, as you will be a key contact for indirect tax matters

You’ll be passionate about the success of Cooper Parry as a whole and its extensive client base. You won’t just be answering queries, you’ll support businesses in achieving their growth journey, whether this be for Owner Managed Businesses, Tech driven high growth businesses or complex corporate groups in the UK and beyond.

What you'll need:

  • Strong technical skills
  • To be commercially aware with the ability to think outside of the problem presented to you
  • The ability to build and retain strong relationships
  • To have trained in practice in either a legal or accounting environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Sound technical and commercial judgement
  • Strong project/client management skills
