VAT Manager - London or Manchester

A leading global business is seeking a VAT Manager to join its EMEA indirect tax advisory team, supporting a fast-growing B2B operation across Europe.

This is a pure advisory role, offering exposure to a wide range of VAT, invoicing, and business transformation projects. Working closely with stakeholders across Business, Finance, Technology, Product, Legal, and external advisers, you will help shape practical VAT solutions that support commercial objectives and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide VAT advice on commercial and operational initiatives across Europe.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure VAT considerations are embedded in business decisions.
  • Translate complex EU VAT rules into clear, practical guidance for non-tax teams.
  • Advise on invoicing, systems, and process design.
  • Identify VAT risks and opportunities, providing commercially focused recommendations.
  • Manage external advisers and support interactions with tax authorities where required.
