VAT Senior Manager
A Top 10 UK accountancy firm is looking to appoint a VAT Senior Manager to join its growing London VAT team.
The role offers the opportunity to manage a varied portfolio of business clients, providing VAT compliance and advisory support, while taking ownership of complex projects and developing long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients across VAT compliance and advisory
- Lead complex VAT consultancy and advisory projects
- Act as a trusted adviser, identifying wider commercial and strategic opportunities
- Develop existing client relationships and identify opportunities for additional work
- Manage, mentor and develop junior team members
- Support business development, networking and cross-referral opportunities
- Maintain high standards of technical and compliance quality
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm

About You
- Significant VAT experience gained within practice or industry
- Strong technical VAT knowledge with experience handling complex matters
- Proven experience managing clients and developing relationships
- Commercially minded with an appetite for business development
- Experience managing and developing junior staff
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
- ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent qualified
