We're looking for experienced Mechanical Technicians to join an innovative automotive manufacturer producing a truly unique range of scaled-down electric classic cars.
This is a rare opportunity to work on high-quality, low-volume vehicle production where craftsmanship, engineering excellence, and attention to detail are at the heart of everything.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble vehicles and components across chassis, electrical, powertrain, body, and safety systems
- Support prototype vehicle builds and demonstration fleet maintenance
- Contribute to process improvement and production efficiency initiatives
- Complete inspection and quality documentation
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure build schedules are achieved
- Maintain the highest standards of workshop safety, quality, and organisation

What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' vehicle assembly experience
- Background in low-volume manufacturing, motorsport, specialist vehicles, or niche automotive production
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems and manufacturing processes
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Hands-on approach with strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Positive team player with pride in delivering high-quality work
Desirable Skills:
- Electric vehicle systems experience
- Wiring and electrical diagnostics
- Composite materials experience
- MIG/TIG welding or fabrication skills
- Motorsport experience

Salary range 30,000-40,000
