Vehicle Body Panel Technician Apprentice

Apprentices will be working alongside fully qualified body panel technicians to be fully trained in repairing and replacing damaged panels using approved techniques including gas, electric and plastic welding.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside fully qualified body panel technicians.
  • Trained to repair and replace damaged panels using approved techniques, including:
    • Gas welding
    • Electric welding
    • Plastic welding up to B.S.I certification

  • Most of your apprenticeship is spent working.
  • You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
  • Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training.
  • You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.
  • Attend college block training at Skillnet Milton Keynes every 6-8 weeks.
  • This will consist of a training week (4-5 working days).
  • Apprentices travelling will be provided with hotel accommodation during the college block training.
