Vehicle Collection Class 1 Driver
Canvey Island
Salary: Competitive + Vehicle collection bonus & overtime
The Opportunity:
You will be collecting vehicles from various locations. Be loading and offloading collected vehicles from our clients and customers onto your HGV using the vehicle winch where required. Height and weight restrictions will apply, and you will need to record height before every journey using the measuring stick and cab height indicator.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Liaising with customers and clients
- Collecting vehicles from various locations
- Loading and offloading to and from our HGV vehicles
- Driving as per regulations and legislations regarding working and driving regulations and height restrictions
Here's what you bring:
- Minimum of 6 months driving experience
- Previous recovery/car transporter experience would be an advantage (full company training will be provided)
- You should have good communication and customer service skills
- Be self-motivated, organised and resilient
- Have good attention to detail
- Class 1 Driving License
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Driver CPC Card
