About the role
Finesse Accident Repair Centres is looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to join our team in Dorking.
As a VDA, you'll play an important part in the repair process, assessing vehicle damage, identifying repair requirements and ensuring estimates reflect the work required to return vehicles to the correct standard.
You'll work closely with our workshop team, customers, insurers and manufacturer repair information, so we're looking for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with good communication, organisation and attention to detail.
Our Dorking site is a busy, manufacturer-approved accident repair centre, working across a range of vehicle brands and repair types.

What we're looking for
We're looking for someone with:
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA within the accident repair or bodyshop industry
- Good knowledge of vehicle damage assessment, repair processes and estimating
- Experience using estimating systems
- An understanding of manufacturer repair methods and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and an accurate, methodical approach
- Good communication and organisational skills
- A positive approach to teamwork
- The ability to manage your workload and take ownership of your assessments
