Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) / Estimator

Join the UK's leading accident repair group, where excellence, innovation, and integrity are at the heart of everything we do.

At Steer Automotive Group, we don't just repair vehicles – we restore confidence. As one of the UK's fastest-growing accident repair businesses, we're looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to join our team.

If you have experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor, Vehicle Estimator, Accident Repair Estimator, Bodyshop Estimator, or Automotive Damage Assessor, and you're passionate about delivering accurate estimates and outstanding customer service, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring every repair is assessed accurately, costed efficiently, and managed through to completion. You'll work closely with technicians, insurers, parts teams, and customers to deliver an exceptional repair journey.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
