About DNA Autohaus
DNA Autohaus is an independent performance and prestige vehicle dealership based in Kidderminster. We pride ourselves on presenting our vehicles to an exceptionally high standard and delivering a premium experience from the moment a customer sees a vehicle through to handover.
We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Detailer / Valeter to join our team and take responsibility for ensuring our stock is prepared and maintained to a high retail standard.
The Role
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes genuine pride in vehicle presentation and has a strong eye for detail.
You will be responsible for preparing newly arrived vehicles for photography and sale, maintaining vehicles while they are in stock, and completing final preparation before customer handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Full interior and exterior detailing of prestige and performance vehicles
- Preparing newly purchased vehicles to a high retail standard
- Thorough interior cleaning, including carpets, upholstery, leather, plastics and trim
- Safe exterior washing and decontamination
- Machine polishing and paint enhancement
- Removing light scratches, swirl marks and other minor paint imperfections where possible
- Applying waxes, sealants and protective products
- Cleaning and detailing wheels, tyres, glass and exterior trim
- Preparing vehicles for photography and online advertising
- Completing final presentation checks before customer collections and deliveries
- Maintaining showroom and forecourt vehicles to a consistently high standard
- Identifying cosmetic defects or preparation work that needs to be brought to management's attention
- Keeping the detailing area, equipment and products clean, organised and properly maintained
- Working closely with the sales, workshop and vehicle preparation teams to ensure vehicles are ready on time

What We're Looking For
The successful candidate should have professional vehicle detailing or high-level valeting experience. Experience working with prestige, performance or high-value vehicles would be particularly advantageous.
You should:
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Take pride in producing a high-quality finish
- Be confident using professional detailing products and equipment
- Have experience with machine polishing and paint correction
- Understand safe washing and vehicle preparation techniques
- Be able to work independently and manage your workload
- Work efficiently without compromising quality
- Be reliable, punctual and professional
- Be comfortable working around high-value vehicles
- Hold a full UK driving licence
