Telesales Advisor - Vehicle Inspections

Join the RAC as a Telesales Advisor and help motorists make informed vehicle-buying decisions through expert inspection services.

Location: RAC Bescot, Walsall (fully office-based)

Start Date: July 2026

Hours: 40 hours per week, full-time

Shift Pattern

  • Monday to Saturday on a rotational basis:
    • Monday to Friday: 08:00-16:30, 08:00-17:00, 09:00-17:30 or 09:30-18:00
    • Saturday: 09:00-17:30 (typically two Saturdays per month with a weekday rest day)

Training

You'll need to be available for two weeks of full-time training, Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00.

If you've worked in a sales or contact centre environment and enjoy helping customers find the right solution, we'd love to hear from you. Join the RAC's Vehicle Inspections team and play a key role in helping customers purchase vehicles with confidence.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and convert vehicle inspection sales opportunities, achieving and exceeding performance targets.
  • Maximise sales through inbound enquiries, outbound follow-up calls and digital leads.
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience by understanding customer needs and recommending the most suitable products.
  • Build rapport quickly and confidently manage objections to secure sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with colleagues to share knowledge and drive team success.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and follow FCA and company compliance requirements.
  • Keep up to date with product knowledge, systems and mandatory training.
  • Contribute ideas and feedback that support continuous improvement and business growth.

What You'll Need

  • Previous experience in a sales, telesales or contact centre role.
  • A proven ability to achieve sales and service targets.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with good attention to detail.
  • A positive, resilient approach and confidence working in a fast-paced environment.
