Upper Heyford Vehicle Inspector Opportunity

We are pleased to confirm that we have an opening available to become part of the Upper Heyford Vehicle Inspector. The Assured Group are proud to continue their working relationship as preferred outsource Vehicle Inspector supplier for Upper Heyford. We are currently recruiting for multiple Vehicle Inspectors on behalf of The Assured Group.

In this role, you will be primarily based as an on-site Inspectors, with some driving responsibilities. You will be responsible for carrying out the tasks as listed below, whilst ensuring you provide an exceptionally high level of customer service – as Inspectors are often the initial and final point of contact for customers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Vehicle Inspector

  • You are responsible for examining and evaluating vehicles to ensure they meet safety, performance, and regulatory standards.
  • This includes inspecting mechanical systems such as engines, brakes, steering, suspension, and transmissions, as well as electrical components, lights, mirrors, tires, and belts to identify defects or malfunctions that could pose safety.
  • You will also check emissions systems to ensure vehicles comply with environmental regulations.
  • Needs to speak English
  • Full UK Driving License that you have held for longer than 1 year – with no more than 6 points
  • Experience is preferred, however full training will be provided
