Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Vehicle Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out thorough inspections of vehicles to assess their condition, identify damage, and ensure they meet company and customer standards. This role requires strong observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles, identifying cosmetic, mechanical, and structural damage.
  • Record findings accurately using handheld devices and inspection systems.
  • Assess vehicle condition against company and customer standards.
  • Produce clear and detailed reports, including photographs where required.
  • Liaise with bodyshop, refurbishment, and operational teams to communicate repair requirements.
  • Ensure vehicles are processed efficiently to meet operational targets.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Adhere to all health and safety procedures and company policies.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area.
  • Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in vehicle inspection, automotive operations, or a similar role.
  • Good knowledge of vehicle components and condition assessment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to use digital systems and handheld devices.
  • Effective communication and organisational skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
