Vehicle Integration Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a prestigious automotive manufacturer, supporting the development and delivery of next-generation luxury vehicles. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge vehicle programmes from concept through to production, collaborating with specialist engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.

As a Vehicle Integration Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and integration of exterior vehicle systems, ensuring engineering solutions meet quality, performance, and manufacturing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting vehicle integration and exterior body development activities.
  • Utilising CAD tools for engineering analysis and problem investigation.
  • Working within cross-functional project teams to deliver programme objectives.
  • Applying structured problem-solving methodologies to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Supporting vehicle build, validation and launch activities.
  • Ensuring engineering solutions align with design, manufacturing and quality requirements.

Requirements

Essential

  • Bachelor's Degree, HNC or equivalent qualification in Engineering, or a Level 6 Engineering Apprenticeship.
  • Experience within the automotive industry, particularly vehicle integration or exterior body development.
  • Experience using CAD tools for vehicle analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle engineering principles and design concepts.
  • Experience applying structured problem-solving and quality tools.
  • Experience working within cross-functional project teams.

  • Knowledge of vehicle launch and change management activities.
  • Experience supporting vehicle build activities.
