LSH Auto is looking for a Vehicle Technician to join our the team at our flagship dealership in Birmingham.
This is more than a traditional technician role. We're looking for people who are passionate about vehicles, take pride in doing things properly and want the opportunity to continue developing their skills as automotive technology evolves.
Whether you already have manufacturer experience or you're looking for the opportunity to take the next step in your technical career, we'll provide the support, training and development to help you progress.
A major part of that development will be access to Mercedes-Benz and BYD manufacturer-specific training and accreditation, giving you the opportunity to develop your expertise across the latest petrol, diesel, hybrid and fully electric vehicle technologies.
Working Hours: 40
Salary: Up to £54,000 plus overtime
Welcome Bonus: £2,000 plus 3 months guaranteed bonus

Requirements
- Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance, inspection and repair.
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs accurately and efficiently.
- Identifying additional work required to ensure vehicles meet our preparation standards.
- Working across an increasingly diverse range of vehicle technologies, including hybrid and fully electric vehicles.
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed.
- Working closely with colleagues across the Preparation Centre to help vehicles progress efficiently through the preparation process.
- Maintaining a safe, clean and professional working environment.
Who We're Looking For
We're interested in technicians with practical automotive experience and, just as importantly, the attitude and ambition to continue developing.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Previous professional experience working as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar automotive maintenance or repair role.
- A good practical understanding of vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work.
- A willingness to learn and develop as vehicle technology continues to evolve.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A full UK driving licence.

An NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent qualification, is essential.
