Military Field Service Vehicle Fitter
Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and collaborative Military Field Service Vehicle Fitter to join our clients inclusive and friendly team. This full-time Military Field Service Vehicle Fitter role is based in Bicester and offers a salary of A GBP 43,500 p/a and excellent benefits.
About the Role
As a Military Field Service Vehicle Fitter you will diagnose, maintain and repair military vehicles and equipment in the field in compliance with technical service and statutory regulations. You will also be independent deployment at a customer's site, with responsibility for order processing and contractual documentation.
In your first few weeks in this Military Field Service Vehicle Fitter role, you can expect to:
- Diagnose, maintain and repair military vehicles and equipment in the field in compliance with technical service and statutory regulations
- Undertake independent deployment at a customer's site, with responsibility for order processing and contractual documentation
- Comply with and monitor statutory regulations, in particular those involving safety at work and environmental protection

Requirements
For this Military Field Service Vehicle Fitter role, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include:
- C and G Heavy Vehicle Repair level 3 (or equivalent)
- Military vehicle technical and maintenance experience
- Test authorisation for technical tests specified by the statutory authorities
- A driving licence Class C (HGV2) minimum
- Relevant experience in vehicle inspection, maintenance, and repair, ideally in military equipment, heavy commercial vehicles, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, or specialist vehicle manufacture
- Skill and experience in the operation of diagnostic equipment, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
