Location: Harrogate, North Yorkshire
Salary: £35,000 per annum

Our client is looking for an experienced Vehicle Prepper / Vehicle Preparation Technician to join their busy automotive team in Harrogate.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Prepper, Bodyshop Prepper or Automotive Prepper looking to join a professional and busy working environment.
The Role
As a Vehicle Prepper, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles to a high standard prior to painting and finishing.
Your duties will include:
- Preparing vehicles for paint and bodywork
- Carrying out sanding, masking and filling
- Preparing panels and surfaces for painting
- Removing imperfections and preparing surfaces to a high standard
- Carrying out minor bodywork and cosmetic repairs
- Preparing repaired panels for the paint process
- Using relevant bodyshop and preparation equipment
- Working closely with Panel Beaters, Paint Sprayers and Vehicle Polishers
- Ensuring completed preparation work meets quality standards
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

About You
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Vehicle Prepper, Car Prepper, Vehicle Preparation Technician, Bodyshop Prepper, Automotive Prepper, Paint Prepper or Bodyshop Technician.
You should have:
- Previous experience within a vehicle bodyshop or automotive environment
- Experience preparing vehicles or panels for paint
- Knowledge of sanding, masking, filling and surface preparation
- Good attention to detail
- A high standard of workmanship
- A reliable and hardworking attitude
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A genuine interest in the automotive industry

Experience working alongside paint sprayers, panel beaters, vehicle polishers or SMART repair technicians would be advantageous.
