Location: Coalville, Leicestershire
Rate: £18.00 - £19.50 per hour
Contract: Temp to Perm
Our client is looking for an experienced Vehicle Prepper or Strip Fitter to join their busy automotive bodyshop in Coalville. This is a temp to perm opportunity, offering £18.00 - £19.50 per hour initially, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position.
As a Vehicle Prepper, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles and panels for the repair and paint process. This will include sanding, filling, priming, masking and ensuring surfaces are prepared to a high standard.

As a Strip Fitter, you will be responsible for stripping and refitting vehicle components as part of the accident repair process. This can include removing and refitting bumpers, trims, lights, panels, interior components and other vehicle parts.
We are interested in candidates with experience as a Vehicle Prepper, Car Prepper, Bodyshop Prepper, Vehicle Preparation Technician, Strip Fitter, Strip & Fit Technician, MET Technician or Bodyshop Technician.

Previous experience within an automotive bodyshop, accident repair centre, vehicle repair or automotive refinishing environment is preferred.
Key requirements:
- Previous bodyshop or vehicle repair experience
- Strong preparation or strip/fitting skills
- Good attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work efficiently within a busy bodyshop
- Reliable and committed to a long-term position
£18.00 - £19.50 per hour
