Vehicle Progressor / Handover Specialist

Location: Renault Enfield (EN1)

Salary: £26,437 pa

Hours: 40 hours per week

Renault Retail Group is looking for a Vehicle Progressor / Handover Specialist to join our team at Renault Enfield.

This is a varied role that combines vehicle progression, customer handovers, sales administration, and vehicle presentation, helping to ensure every customer receives a professional and well-organised experience from purchase through to collection.

Working closely with the New Car Sales Manager, Used Car Sales Manager and other members of the Sales Team, you'll support the smooth operation of the department by coordinating vehicle preparation, maintaining presentation standards, and delivering a positive customer experience throughout the handover process.

What You'll Do

  • Progress vehicle orders from point of sale through to customer handover
  • Ensure vehicles are prepared and presented to dealership standards prior to collection
  • Welcome customers and support handover appointments
  • Liaise with customers and sales colleagues to ensure a smooth customer journey
  • Coordinate vehicle preparation and accessory fitting in line with customer orders
  • Support the preparation, presentation, and online marketing of used vehicle stock, including vehicle photography
  • Maintain demonstration and display vehicle standards in line with dealership requirements
  • Process vehicle handover documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Support the administration of ECOS/ECOP vehicle handovers and returns
  • Manage vehicle keys, parking arrangements, and vehicle movements around the site
  • Maintain high standards of organisation, housekeeping, attendance, and professional presentation
  • Report vehicle damage, site hazards, or Health & Safety concerns promptly
  • Undertake driving and other duties that support the efficient operation of the dealership

What We're Looking For

We'd be pleased to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Progressor, Handover Specialist, Vehicle Administrator, Vehicle Valeter, or similar automotive support role
  • A customer-focused and professional approach
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks
  • Clear communication skills
  • Confidence working within established processes and procedures
  • A positive and collaborative approach to supporting colleagues and customers

Previous experience within a franchised dealership environment would be beneficial but is not essential.

Licence Requirement

A full UK driving licence (manual and automatic vehicles) is essential for this role.

Hours & Pay

  • £26,437 pa
  • Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm with 1-hour unpaid daily lunch break
  • 40 hours per week
