Vehicle Technician

Location: Dover

Salary: Up to £40,000 Basic + Benefits

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm (30-minute lunch), plus 1 in 3 Saturdays

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy and well-established main dealership in Dover. Vehicle Technician Role

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Conduct vehicle health checks and inspections.
  • Carry out road tests before and after repairs where required.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
  • Complete workshop paperwork and job cards accurately.
  • Work collaboratively with the Workshop Controller and Service Advisors to maintain an efficient workflow.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high standards of workmanship at all times.

Vehicle Technician Requirements

  • Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent).
  • Valid MOT Tester Licence.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician.
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.
