Vehicle Technician / Mechanic Stafford

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, Automotive Technician, or Motor Vehicle Technician to join a busy dealership workshop in Stafford. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, a Full UK Driving Licence, and have the right to work in the UK. Dealership and independent garage experience will both be considered.

Job Details

Vehicle Technician

  • Location: Stafford
  • Salary: £34,000 basic + £3,000 Productivity Bonus + uncapped Time Saved Bonus
  • OTE: Up to £41,230+ uncapped
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am-12:30pm
  • Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Vehicle Technician Role

  • Carry out servicing and routine vehicle maintenance to required standards
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
  • Complete vehicle health checks using diagnostic equipment
  • Carry out authorised repair and warranty work
  • Road test vehicles following repairs
  • Complete job cards and workshop documentation accurately
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and workshop safety

Vehicle Technician Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, Automotive Technician, or Car Technician
  • Dealership or independent garage experience
  • Strong servicing, repair, and diagnostic skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Previous manufacturer experience is advantageous but not essential
