Job Title: Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic
Location: Chippenham
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per year basic (Tailored directly to your current experience and technical skillset)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00, plus a short Saturday morning shift (08:00 – 12:30) on a comfortable 1-in-2 rotation.

Your Role
Working in our high-spec Chippenham workshop, you will:
- Carry out routine vehicle servicing, safety inspections, diagnosis, and mechanical repairs to strict brand specifications.
- Use up-to-date diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach to troubleshoot technical, electrical, and mechanical faults.
- Accurately complete digital job cards, service reports, and written descriptions of faults found.
- Work productively alongside workshop colleagues, sharing best practices to maintain a smooth, efficient workshop flow.
What You Need
Qualifications & Experience:
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
- Proven track record in a professional workshop setting.
- F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).

Licensing:
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
- An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required (fully funded training can be provided).
Equipment & Mindset:
- Must possess your own hand tools.
- Confident, professional approach with excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
