Vehicle Technician Stafford

Salary £34,000 £36,000 Basic | £45,000+ OTE | Uncapped Bonus | Paid Overtime

Monday to Friday 8:30 - 5pm and 1 in 3 Saturdays

MOT Testers receive an additional £125 per month

Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician looking for a busy workshop where you can earn well, receive strong support, and be recognized for the work you put in?

We are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join a successful main dealership in Stafford. This is a great opportunity for a technician from either a main dealer or independent background who wants strong earning potential, manufacturer training, and genuine long-term progression.

Vehicle Technician Role

As a Vehicle Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
  • Completing mechanical and electrical repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment
  • Completing repairs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
  • Carrying out electronic vehicle health checks and identifying additional work
  • Accurately recording work completed and updating relevant job documentation
  • Working closely with Service Advisors and the wider workshop team
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with workshop procedures

Vehicle Technician Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
  • Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
  • Main dealership or independent garage experience considered
  • MOT Tester licence advantageous but not essential
  • Strong servicing, maintenance, and repair skills
  • Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
  • Ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
  • Full UK driving licence
