Vehicle Technician
Location: Barnet
Salary: £35,000 Basic
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (No Weekends)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy and growing independent garage based in Barnet. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician looking for a genuine work-life balance, offering Monday to Friday working with no weekends, a friendly working environment and the opportunity to become part of a close-knit team. Due to continued business growth, the workshop is looking to expand with an experienced technician who can hit the ground running.

Vehicle Technician Role
- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults using diagnostic equipment.
- Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Carry out repairs including brakes, suspension, exhausts and general mechanical work.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.
- Work closely with the existing team to deliver excellent customer service.
Vehicle Technician Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician.
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
- Own tools are essential.
- Formal qualifications are desirable but not essential for candidates with the right experience.
- Positive attitude with the ability to work well within a small team.
- Reliable, hardworking and committed to producing high-quality workmanship.
