Vehicle Technician Northampton

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Technician to join a busy main dealership in Northampton. Applicants must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, possess a recognised diagnostic qualification, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK.

Job Details

  • Location: Northampton
  • Salary: £35,000 - £39,000 Basic + Bonus
  • OTE: Up to £45,000
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (40 hours) No Weekends or Bank Holidays
  • Ref: 31215

Vehicle Technician Role

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle faults
  • Complete vehicle inspections and health checks
  • Carry out repairs efficiently to a high standard
  • Accurately complete job cards and workshop documentation
  • Maintain high workshop and Health & Safety standards

Vehicle Technician Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Technician
  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Recognised diagnostic qualification
  • Strong servicing, repair and diagnostic skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Right to work in the UK
