Vehicle Technician
Location: Bishops Stortford
Salary: DOE | Up to £52,480 OTE (uncapped)
Hours: Mon-Fri 08:30-17:00 + 1 in 3 Saturdays
A respected workshop in Bishops Stortford is expanding and now seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Vehicle Technician who wants strong earning potential, modern facilities, and ongoing training including hybrid and EV development.
Vehicle Technician Role Overview
As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles
- Servicing and maintenance to manufacturer standards
- Completing vehicle health checks and identifying required work
- Carrying out minor repairs, diagnostics, and electrical checks
- Warranty repairs and accurate job write-ups
- Road-testing vehicles to confirm repair quality

Vehicle Technician Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
- Full UK driving licence
- High attention to detail and strong workshop standards
- Diagnostic, MOT, or EV experience is beneficial but not essential
