Vehicle Technician

Location: Epsom

Salary: £39,520 Basic + Bonus

Working Hours: 45-hour week, Monday Friday + Saturday mornings (5 hours) on a rota basis

Ref: 30596

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Technician to join a well-established, family-run main dealership in Epsom. This role is ideal for a qualified technician looking to develop their career with ongoing training, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to work with modern diagnostic equipment in a supportive workshop environment.

Vehicle Technician Role

  • Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using specialist diagnostic equipment
  • Complete repairs on engines, braking systems, suspension and other vehicle components
  • Replace worn or damaged parts including brakes, filters, belts and hoses
  • Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
  • Liaise professionally with customers regarding vehicle repairs and recommendations
  • Work collaboratively with the workshop team while maintaining high safety standards

Vehicle Technician Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Service or Diagnostic Technician
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Team player with a proactive attitude towards learning and development
  • Full UK Driving Licence
